I finished reading "Ape House" by Sara Gruen. I semi-enjoyed it. I guess my problem with it was that the book just had little depth.

I'm currently reading "The Thirteenth Tale" by Diane Setterfield. and, so far, I'm enjoying it. I'll reserve my final recommendation for when I finish it.

I also read "The Red Queen" by Phillipa Gregory. This I did enjoy. The style was a bit different from her other books, but fit the character of the story, the terse Margaret Beaufort, grandmother of Henry the VII.

I also read "An Irish country Girl" by Patrick Taylor. And as usual, I was drawn in by the utter charm of the characters. Love, love, love it.

I'm a blessed woman. I love books and my family spoils me by buying books for me.

Conversation hearts wreath

This was a lot easier than I anticipated. I wrapped a wreath in thick white satin ribbon, using a glue gun to make it easier to keep the ribbons in place. Then over about an HOUR, I glued on the individual hearts. Very fun!
Thanks to Kristi at Gift of Today for the idea!

Hope I didn't shoot your eyes out with my new blog design

Thanks to graphicsfairy for the background and the linen header shape. Everything else is my creation.
I know it's kinda bold. I'm liking it for now.
