Catch-Up

I have a lot of catching up to do. So much has been happening due to work and the Labor Day Weekend. Oh, and what a weekend it was. My sweet daughter-in-law and I were talking about the weekend and she commented that it was definitely a boys weekend. Both of us have pictures of all the stuff the boys did. Grandbuddy caught his first fish. Okay, well, Uncle J.C. actually caught it, but Gbuddy reeled it in and was quite proud of his catch.
We had a lovely view of the lake from our townhouse.
Grandpa, Daddy and Grandbuddy had a lovely time walking up and down a bridge we found on a back road, on the search for good fishing spots.
Grandpa made his famous chili, the first of the season, and everyone enjoyed it mightily. I would say that the other contestants in the Chili Cookoff had better beware. That was some good chili! We had a lovely four mile hike through the woods. Didn't take my camera, but the walk was oh so beautiful, and we had such good conversation along the way. The cool weather was so, so welcome, and when we got home, the temperature had cooled off some twenty degrees, also very, very welcome.
