I had a lovely busy day today--had my teeth cleaned (that part wasn't so lovely, but my teeth are lovely and clean!) and then had lunch with the hubby at one of our favorite places, Macaroni Grill. I did some shopping at Hobby Lobby and bought some little goodies (ribbon and embellishments) for Lilly's hat and booties:
And here is a picture of the booties and hat all nicely washed and blocked:
I also bought four balls of RED yarn on sale that are slated for the Red Scarf Project:
Right now I am working on a sweater for Lilly to complete the layette:
and a detail shot of the yoke--I just love the "spokes":
This pattern is from the knitlist giftlist: http://knitlist.com/96gift/giftbabystuff.htm
I found it so far to be an exceedingly well-written pattern.
My amaryllis, shown below "sprouting", actually bloomed day before yesterday:
It has eight blooms on it this year--isn't it pretty?
